The Braves won 6-3 against Fort Scott on Monday, which marks their second consecutive win.

Senior Xavier Seaton led the way, scoring three goals. Kade Thomas, Ben Gonzalez, and Mayson Sprague also scored.

The Braves started their streak on Oct. 17 night against Piper, taking home a 3-2 win.

Midfielder captain Zack Reno, a junior, was one of three who scored a goal. Reno started the Braves off early with a 40-yard shot for goal early in the first half.

“To be honest, I was shocked,” Reno said of the shot. “ I just kicked the ball and somehow it hit the back of the net.”

The win against Piper set up momentum for the Fort Scott game.

“Our head’s were already big because we thought we were going to win,” Reno said.

The Braves will be in action Monday for regionals.
