We all know who Taylor Swift is and how crazy this Eras Tour is. The Eras Tour has been for only 5 months! People do not realize how much money the Eras Tour is getting. There is an estimate that the U.S. leg of the tour has made close to $5 BILLION dollars. All that money includes ticket sales, travel, all of her outfits, food and drinks, and all of her merchandise that is being sold. Swift’s gross earnings from each concert range from $6- $13 million dollars. She is estimated to be the first artist whose tour grosses $1 billion dollars. With her Eras Tour, she is saving the economy and actually helping! Her tickets are a high dollar amount, in Kansas City, the most expensive ticket sold was $450,000 dollars. The most tickets that have been sold in 1 day were 2.4 MILLION!! The Swifties will go all out when she is in town.

A bank in Philadelphia said that when Swift was there in May, she boosted travel and tourism in the area. She had hotels sold out and restaurants packed. In Santa Clara, she helped boost the economy by $33.5 million dollars. With all the money that she has gotten from the tour, she has given her staff over $50 million dollars in bonuses. In Los Angeles, she boosted employment by 3,300 and earnings as well. Michael’s jewelry sales skyrocketed from the Swifties making hundreds of bracelets and trading with each other. Although Taylor finished her US part of the tour, she announced that she will be doing another leg of US tours in fall of 2024. Swift now holds the record for having the most-attended concert by a female artist which had 69,000 fans. The record holder before her was Madonna in 1987. Swift does not plan on stopping any time soon and will only go up from here!
