    Get Ready For Market Day!

    This upcoming Thursday, November 16th, Mr. Dow’s applied marking class will be hosting market day. Market day consists of different groups of students in Mr. Dow’s applied marking class selling different food and treats. Students and staff look forward to market day each year, it offers a change in the usual school lunch schedule, with a chance to support the participants.

    Senior Abby Schram and junior Alysandra Cabellero will be selling nachos. Their business is called: Nacho Business. They will be selling nachos with just cheese and condiments for $5, and if you would like to add meat it is an extra $2. To promote their business, you can find posters they have been spreading with information about their business around the school.

    Seniors Jordyn Carrol, Jocelyn Miranda, and sophomore Cadence Anderson will sell street tacos. Their business is called, The Taco Amigas. They are selling tacos for $2 each, or $6 for three tacos. To promote their business they created a flier and will be posting it on social media platforms next week.

    Senior Jacob Dufresne, and sophomores Christian Crabtree and Adrian Henson will be selling Dum Dums. Each sucker will be sold for 25 cents.

    Seniors Nathan Gandy and Dominic Schierbaum will be selling ice cream. The name of their business is called: Two Bros, One Scoop. They will be selling each scoop for $2 each, you can choose between a cup or a cone, although for a waffle cone, it will be an additional $1. Their flavors consist of vanilla, cookies and cream, and cookie dough.

    Sophomores Devin Fleischer and Adrian will be selling soda. Their business is called: A and D soda. Each can will be sold for $2, you also have the option to buy two for $3. They will be selling Dr. Pepper, Coke, Sprite, and Mt. Dew.

    Finally, junior David Delgado and freshman Xavier Haro will be selling horchatas. Their business is called: Aguas Frescites. They will have normal horchatas, strawberry horchatas, as well as lemonade, each cup will be $4. To promote their business they will be posting flyers on social media.

    Good luck to the students participating, and don’t forget to come prepared with your money to support the students this Thursday!
